From Squirrel Tables to Custom Masterpieces

Born out of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Custom 19 Hardwoods started in an unexpected way. After being laid off, founder Chris found himself with time, creativity, and a need to stay busy. When the couch cushions began to show wear, he decided to take action and began crafting small, quirky squirrel tables, selling them for $25 each with contactless delivery. What began as a small venture soon sparked a passion for woodworking and design, growing into a thriving business that now creates one-of-a-kind custom furniture. Today, Custom 19 Hardwoods combines quality craftsmanship with a commitment to creating pieces that bring joy and functionality to every client’s space.

As demand quickly grew, so did Custom 19 Hardwoods. As clients recognized the quality and care in each creation, Word spread. We started receiving requests for everything from live-edge tables to intricate epoxy designs and custom shelving.
